It was an absolute pleasure to have the students from Holmesglen visit to learn about foraging and fresh, sustainable produce


We had a great weekend with Patient Wolf Gin and Long Rays garnishing delicious drinks and chatting about native botanicals for the Tapped In G&T Festival!


Finally our hen house is complete! Made from completely recyclyed materials, our chicken are settling in well to their new home. We’re looking forward to more eggs for us and more compost for the garden!

Melbourne Food and Wine Festival

A wonderful afternoon with the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival at Left Bank Melbourne to celebrate the Magical World of Honey! A big thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed the incredible honey inspired menu and cocktails and listened as we spoke about all things honey


We had 10 new hives arrive at the Warrandyte Farm to enjoy the vast variety of flowers!

Silvan Farm Progress

Finally a bit of progress on the Silvan farm! Lockdown caused a bit of a halt to developing our property in Silvan, it’s nice to see things starting to move ahead again with the installation of water tanks!

We were devastated by the loss of our incredible, dedicated team member Oscar the Border Collie. We will miss his chasing and herding of the tractor. His memory will live on forever at the Spurrell Farm

Covid Update – We made it!

We Made It! It hasn’t been easy, we like many other small businesses were impacted greatly by this years pandemic, to say we are happy to be coming out of lockdown is an understatement! We can’t wait to get back out foraging and farming and providing our customers with our delcious fresh produce!


While the world shut down, we didn’t! During lockdown, we were able to focus on a new project and expand our small business into a complete range of exciting preserves! We’ve created everything from sweet and savoury jams, to marmalades and jellies, pastes and sauces and delicious fruit coridals. Our preserves are made from freshly foraged, sustainably grown and locally sourced produce with many boasting flavours of Australian Native Botanicals. Head to our preserves page to learn more!
